Democratic Socialists Of America: ACTION TONIGHT - No Justice, No Seat: The March Against Kavanaugh OCIALIS NYC DSA NYC Comrades, Last week, a video went viral of women confronting Senator Jeff Flake in an elevator, after his announcement that he would vote to confirm Brett Kavanaugh for a lifetime position on the Supreme Court. Due to the bravery and honesty of these women and countless other protestors, the Senate has delayed their confirmation vote until the FBI investigates Kavanaugh's spurious claims to innocence. Women cis, trans, black and brown, immigrants, workers and all survivors of sexual violence and allies across the country are raising their voices this week and taking to the streets. We in DSA will not stand for the confirmation of a man who is guilty of sexual assault and whose judicial record makes clear he cares only about the rights of elite white men like himself and the corporate and carceral power they wield. We stand together in our certainty that achieving a feminist society requires an end to capitalism and all profit-motivated systems that benefit from gender violence and oppression. Kavanaugh will only be stopped if we keep organizing. Join DSA, ISO, IWS, NYIC, MPower Change, Socialist Alternative, NYCFAR, NWL, Left Voice and thousands of New Yorkers tonight for No Justice, No Seat: The March Against Kavanaugh, to protest his pending confirmation and to celebrate our international solidarity with survivors and all who stand for love and justice. We are resilient, we are unified, and we will not let this violence continue without a fight. The rallying point will be at 6 PM at Flatiron Plaza, the open space in the Southwest corner of Madison Square Park, marching to the Yale Club, and then ending our evening with a rally in Grand Central.
