The deadly concoction consists of codeine and promethazine. In conjunction with his preexisting sleep apnea, the drug was cited as his cause of death. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ What’s your favorite Pimp C song?

Memes, Money, and Police: Girlfriend of Philando Castile Reaches $800,000 Settlement For Emotional Distress and False Arrest @balleralert Girlfriend of Philando Castile Reaches $800,000 Settlement For Emotional Distress and False Arrest – blogged by @MsJennyb ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Nearly 17 months after PhilandoCastile was gunned down by St. Anthony police officer Jeronimo Yanez, his girlfriend, who live-streamed the traffic stop murder, has been granted an $800,000 settlement in the wake of his death. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ According to reports, DiamondReynolds will receive $675,000 from the Minnesota city where Castile was shot, as well as an additional $125,000 from the city of Roseville and the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust. A portion of the money will be held in a trust for her 4-year-old daughter, who witnessed the brutal murder on July 6, 2016. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Although the agreement still needs to be approved by the court, the settlement will resolve Reynolds’ claims of emotional distress and false arrest. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “While no amount of money can change what happened, bring Philando back, or erase the pain that my daughter and I continue to suffer, I do hope that closing this chapter will allow us to get our lives back and move forward,” Reynolds said in a statement. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ According to reports, the settlement comes just months after Castile’s mother settled for more than $2 million in a wrongful death suit of her son. The settlement also comes just months after Yanez, who shot Castile several times after he informed the officer that he had a firearm, was found not guilty of second-degree manslaughter.

Confidence, Life, and Memes: MILLIONAIRE MENTOR LIFE CAN GO FROM ZERO TO ONE HUNDRED REAL QUICK, AND BACK DOWN TO ZERO SO BE HUMBLE. MILLIONAIRE MENTOR You've heard it all your life: Being humble, kind, and calm is the "right thing to do." But if that isn't enough to convince you, consider this: humility, kindness, and calmness can actually help you get ahead in life. Confidence is key to getting ahead in life. It helps you do better at work, in relationships, and in interviews. Overconfidence, however, can make you seem like a genuine jerk. We all know that one person that thinks they are the strongest, smartest, and just all around best at everything. Truthfully, we all dislike that person to some degree. So, while confidence is essential, it's important to stay humble as well (the two aren't as contradictory as you might think). Think about it before you start hatting on my post. Here are the benefits of being humble: ✔️Calms your soul. Humble people are better able to cope with anxiety about their mortality. Instead of erecting self-defenses against death, humble people tend to find it provides a useful perspective on life and how it should be lived. When it's not all about you, it makes death easier to contemplate. ✔️higher self-control. Having high self-control is one key to a successful life. Oddly, perhaps, studies have found that an obsession with the self can paradoxically lead to lower self-control. The humble, though, because they place less importance on the self, exhibit higher self-control in many situations. Perhaps this is partly due to the fact that humble people tend to know their limits. 🤔 ✔️More helpful. Humble people are, on average, more helpful than people who are conceited or egotistical. Unsurprisingly, humble people have also been found to be more generous. - What’s your opinion on being humble? I would like to know what you think! Doctor, Memes, and Queen: Mother Sentenced To Prison Over Son's Strep Throat Death After Failing To Bring Him To The Doctor @balleralert Mother Sentenced To Prison Over Son’s Strep Throat Death After Failing To Bring Him To The Doctor – blogged by @MsJennyb ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Last week, a Canadian mother was sentenced to prison time after attempting to treat her son’s strep throat with “holistic remedies.” Back in 2013, Tamara Lovett was found guilty in the “senseless death” of her 7-year-old son after refusing to get him proper medical care from an actual doctor. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ According to reports, Lovett’s son caught strep throat in March of 2013 and died 10 days later. Lovett believed her son was plagued with the common cold or flu, a sickness she thought she’d be able to kick with dandelion tea. However, more than a week later, Lovett’s son was pronounced dead at their home after suffering from strep throat, pneumonia, and meningitis. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “[Lovett’s] actions resulted in the senseless death of an innocent child who needed her protection,” Kristine Eidsvik, the Court of Queen’s Bench Justice said. “If your child is not getting better, you are legally and morally bound to take your child to an actual doctor for actual medical care.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Eidsvik continued, saying the boy died “an excruciating, unnecessary death” because he “was completely dependent on his mother for using common sense in treatment choices.” As a result, Lovett, who hoped others learned from her ignorance in her son’s death, was sentenced to three years in prison.
